ICMS UPDATE VERSION 3.0.15.0 - INSTALL NOTES

The 3.0.15.0 version can only upgrade versions of ICMS 3.0.8.0 or higher.  This software was released 6/6/2005.  This release of software does include a database update, PLEASE BACKUP YOUR ICMS.MDB DATABASE BEFORE APPLYING THIS UPDATE.

After downloading icms.update.3.0.15.0.zip file, extract contents of the zip file to the C:\Program Files\Solidyne\ICMS\ directory or whichever directory is the home directory for the ICMS software.

Listing of the 4 files contained in the icms.update.3.0.15.0.zip file are below:

Icmscfg.exe
ICMSDBUpdate.exe

After these 4 files are extracted into the ICMS home directory, you must first run the ICMSDBUpdate.exe file to update your database to v7.  To do this, select File->Update Database.

ICMS should now be ready to use.


A few things to check out in this release.

1. In Icmscfg.exe, selecting M2V as a node type will automatically label all of the inputs and outputs and also configure their types automatically.

2. When doing an Update to a controller in ICMS.exe, a new selection will appear for Firmware Updating.  Selecting this option will open a wizard for changing/updating the M2 or M2V on your network to the latest revision.
